GMDSS VHF Tester allows to check all necessary parameters of VHF two-way phone equipment, GMDSS VHF equipment with DSC, and MF/HF equipment with coast servicing in accordance with rules of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The VHF Tester is small and handheld.
With the help of GMDSS VHF Tester you can provide the full check of the VHF radios, MF/HF radios on comply with specification.
Tester has sound alarm of DSC transmitting/receiving. Also it provides the full self-testing with indication on LCD.

Tester has two power supply modes:
- Built-in 6V battery;
- 24 V onboard power supply circuit (with usage of the supply unit)
Main specification:
During the test of VHF radios with frequency modulation tester allows to:
- check the efficiency of VHF radio with frequency modulation ;
- measure the frequency of transmitter in range of 155-162 MHz ;
- indicate the level of emitted power;
- control deviation level;
- estimate the radio's receiver sensitivity;
During the test of GMDSS VHF equipment transmitter with DSC tester allows to:
- estimate the reliabilty of formation and transmitting of DSC messages;
- indicate the power;
- measure the frequency 156,525 MHz;
During the test of GMDSS VHF equipment receiver with DSC tester allows to:
- send to receiver three kinds of DSC messages:
One time with "Distress" ;
Five times with "Distress";
Individual call "IND.CALL" ;
- estimate the radio's receiver sensitivity;

During the test of VHF radios with amplitude modulation 121-123,5MHz tester allows to:
- measure the carrier frequency of transmitter;
- provide the acoustic control of radio operation;
During the test of GMDSS MH/HF equipment transmitter tester allows to:
- measure the frequency at range 1.6-30 MHz;
