What is service life period of the SART?

Service life period of the SART is determined by the manufacturer and required by the Marine Register. Usually service life period of the SART is about 12 years since the manufacturing date. In some national Marine Administrations this period may be strictly determined for instance according to RMRS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping) requirements the service life period for the SART makes 10 years.
